Billy Wagner Goes Off on His Mets Teammates

Published by bigppup at 1:40 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Losing is never easy, and if it becomes easy for you, then you’re in the wrong profession if you’re an athlete.  The New York Mets, have had a long history of losing there is no denying that.  However, in the past few years they have assembled a large talent base that should have changed the ways of the other NYC based franchise.  Sadly after a historic collapse last season, the Mets are on the verge of not even being in the division race this season.

Well for one player in the Mets clubhouse the losing ways of the team are already getting to him.  As a closing pitcher Billy Wagner has had a lot of free time this season due to the Mets inability to maintain leads late into games.  Wagner didn’t even play in yesterday’s games against the Nationals, however he was available to take questions after the game but he wasn’t happy about it.

From the looks of things, it could be a very long hot summer in
Queens.
